CLOUD COMPUTING FOR SMART, ENERGY-EFFICIENT HOMES

The purpose of the Comète project is to develop smart solutions for home automation that:

• Leverage the processing power and connectivity offered by cloud computing and the internet
• Are powered by dynamic, targeted, upgradeable algorithms based on building thermal and energy models
• Take a user-friendly approach to the human-machine interface

The project will develop new equipment and services that go farther than what is available today and that improve the management, comfort, and energy-efficiency of both residential and public buildings.

FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE REGIONAL ECONOMY

This project combines a complementary set of skills contributed by partners from the Rhône-Alpes region. As a result of the project, the entire regional industry, from manufacturer to installer, will be positioned to successfully move upmarket with higher-added-value products and services, in turn driving regional economic growth.
