The company is based in Meylan, France, in the heart of Grenoble’s world-renowned high-tech ecosystem with subsidiaries in the USA and Canada. Waga Energy’s 40-strong team possesses all of the knowledge and experience needed to complete landfill-gas-to-energy projects, from design and financing to construction, installation, and operation.
Wage Energy’s mission is to recover biomethane from landfills – a source of energy that would otherwise be lost. The company drew on its extensive gas engineering know-how to develop the WAGABOX, a revolutionary landfill gas upgrading station that extracts the energy-containing fraction of landfill gas, a renewable alternative to fossil-based gas.
