LAGAZEL innovation mainly lies in its manufacturing model. Products are designed with quality components sourced from French suppliers, are and assemblined in African workshops by trained people. More than 65,000 Kalo solar lamps have been produced in the facility in Burkina Faso since 2016 by a local team of 15 technicians, and sold over the west African region. A second production facility is being launch in Benin. LAGAZEL also offers industrial subcontracting services in Africa for other players of the industry. This innovative business contributes to jobs creation and local economic development, and reduces the envionmental footprint of the value chain.
